Engineered for Performance

The Russell Europe Kids Hooded Sweatshirt (575B) is engineered to withstand the rigorous demands of the schoolyard and the sports field. Constructed from a robust 295gsm fabric blend of 50% cotton and 50% polyester, this garment offers the perfect balance of warmth and durability. The polyester content ensures excellent colour fastness and resistance to shrinkage, meaning the hoodie retains its vibrant hue and shape even after countless wash cycles—a critical feature for daily schoolwear. The double-layer hood provides substantial insulation against the cold, while the absence of drawcords adheres to strict EU safety regulations for children's clothing. Furthermore, the fabric's tight knit structure acts as an effective barrier against wind chill, making it an indispensable layer for outdoor activities. By choosing this Oeko-Tex certified garment, schools and clubs can be assured that the fabric is free from harmful substances, prioritising the health and safety of the wearer. It is the ideal top layer to style alongside Kids T-shirts for a versatile, all-weather uniform solution.

Comfort & Workforce Utility

Comfort is the key to compliance when it comes to kids' uniforms, and the 575B excels in this area. The interior features a brushed fleece finish that feels soft and cosy against the skin, providing immediate warmth and comfort that children love. The modern, straighter cut eliminates the baggy, unkempt look of traditional hoodies, offering a smarter silhouette that aligns with contemporary school uniform standards. A herringbone neck tape reinforces the collar area, preventing it from stretching out while also covering the seam to eliminate itching and irritation at the back of the neck. The spacious kangaroo pocket features reinforced bartacks at stress points, ensuring it can handle the weight of hands, toys, or snacks without tearing. This combination of soft tactile feedback and practical utility makes it a favourite among students, ensuring they are happy to wear their uniform day in and day out.
